Cupressus sempervirens Stricta is an architectural evergreen conifer commonly known as the Italian Cypress or Mediterranean Cypress. This upright cultivar stands tall with its narrow column of blue-green foliage, presenting a distinctive silhouette reminiscent of Mediterranean landscapes.
Originating from the eastern Mediterranean, this evergreen tree is not just about aesthetics. It's a testament to resilience, showcasing tolerance to coastal conditions, drought and wind. This makes it an excellent choice for planting in challenging environments where other trees might falter.
With a growth rate classified as medium, expect this tree to reach a height of 4m in just 5 years, maturing to an impressive 6m. Pittosporum Golf Ball is a neat forming, rounded New Zealand shrub. This plant is ideal for adding structure and architectural interest to the planting scheme and also makes a great low hedge.
