Ulmus glabra Lutescens. Golden Elm. With this elm, depending on how much light it is exposed to, the foliage is either a vivid yellow (full sun) or lime green (part shade). In autumn the leaves turn a brilliant yellow before falling. A vase shape when young, developing into a more rounded canopy as it matures. This elm offers a good colour contrast in any garden. Position in full sun to semi shade in moist, well-drained soil. Hardy. Deciduous. 10m x 12m.
