Malus floribunda

Malus floribunda, commonly known as Japanese Crabapple, is a small deciduous tree celebrated for its impressive display of fragrant, pinkish-white flowers which bloom in clusters in the spring. Following the blossoming period, small, bright-red crabapples emerge and persist into the winter, attracting birds and providing year-round interest.

Thriving in full sun to part shade, Malus floribunda prefers moist, well-drained soil. This tree typically grows to a height of 4-6 metres and a spread of 4-5 metres, making it a perfect choice for smaller gardens, borders or as a feature tree.
