Malus Flamingo

Malus Flamingo, commonly known as the Flamingo Crabapple, is a small deciduous tree that is highly prized for its ornamental value.  In the spring, it produces profuse clusters of stunning pink flowers that cover the tree, creating a beautiful display.  One of the most distinctive features of the Malus Flamingo is its foliage. The leaves are a deep purple-red colour, which gradually turn green as the season progresses. This striking foliage provides a beautiful backdrop to the pink flowers in the spring and summer and turns to a brilliant yellow-orange colour in the autumn, adding to its ornamental value.

The Flamingo Crabapple is a relatively small tree, growing to a height of about 4.5-6m and a spread of 3-4.5m when fully mature. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil and is relatively low-maintenance, making it a popular choice for ornamental gardens, parks, and urban landscapes.
