Larix kaempferi
Notify MeLarix Kaempferi also known as a Japanese Larch. The foliage is nededle-like, soft, with blue-green tones, which turns golden-yellow during autumn. Female varieties have red tiny flowers, while in males they are yellow. This deciduous tree will best grown in full sun in a moist, well-drained soil. It grows in a fast pace and can reach up to 6m tall when mature and continuing to grow to 20-30m tall over its lifetime. Great as a living Christmas tree. Low maintenance required.
