Lagunaria patersonii, commonly known as White Oak or Whitewood, has an upright growing habit. Large, oval, dark-green foliage with rose cup-like flowers during summer. For optimum growth these trees need to be planted in full sunlight in a rich soiled area, they will withstand droughts once established but when growing they need to be well watered and a well drained soil. Up to 10m tall when mature.
