Saxon Blush is one of the hardier of the Vireyas and can withstand a very light frost. The Vireya group is known for its tropical origins and bright flowers, making them more suitable for warmer climates compared to traditional rhododendrons that thrive in cooler regions.
Looks great in a mixed planting. Plant in loose-textured, free-draining, moisture-retentive acidic soil. Prefers a warm semi-shaded position. Grows well in containers as it prefers restricted root growth.
Grows to approximately 1 m high.
