Rhododendron Rubicon

Rhododendron Rubicon is a captivating hybrid Rhododendron variety with deep, velvety red flowers that bloom in tight trusses. These stunning flowers are further accentuated by dark red spots, adding a layer of complexity to the Rubicon's appearance. Flowering in mid to late spring, the plant reaches a height of approximately 1.2-2m and spreads about 1-1.5m wide. The foliage is equally impressive, featuring glossy, dark green leaves that provide a striking contrast to the vibrant flowers.

This hardy shrub thrives in a variety of conditions but prefers dappled shade or a sheltered sunny spot. It is well-suited for acidic, well-drained soils rich in organic material.
