Hymenosporum Golden Nugget
Hymenosporum flavum Golden Nugget, also known as the Dwarf Australian Frangipani, is a compact growing evergreen shrub with highly fragrant cream flowers in spring that turn golden yellow as they age.
Its star-like flowers add a tropical look against its glossy dark-green foliage. This Hymenosporum flavum is perfect in small gardens or makes an excellent container plant with placement where its evening fragrance can be enjoyed. Also looks great en-mass as a border or in mixed planting.
Prefers well-drained soil and can be grown in shade but for optimum flower growth full sun is needed. Best in a protected spot as it only tolerates very light frost.
Grows 1m x 1m.
