Hydrangea Nightingale - an outstanding lace-cap hydrangea, highly desirable for the deepest-blue, flat flower heads which put on a real show during summer and autumn. Compact, tidy and free flowering. Prune to a pair of fat buds either at the end of flowering or in early spring to keep tidy. Deciduous.The intense blue colour of this hydrangea will be more obvious if your plant is growing in acid soil. A side dressing of aluminium sulphate during the growth period will also assist.
