Hydrangea Candlelight
Notify MeHydrangea Candlelight has creamy-white flowers at the tip of thickset twigs. These twigs are a fittingly dark red. The creamy blooms turn pink then red as they age, depending on the NZ location.
Shrub height is between 1-1.2 metres. Pruning each August to around 30 cms is beneficial to stimulate flowering. Regular watering is also beneficial. Flowers appear mid-summer to autumn, in full sun to part shade. After flowering this hydrangea is great to cut and use as dried flowers during winter.
