Notify MeHibiscus rosa-sinensis Agnes Galt is a showy evergreen shrub known for its large, ruffled, pale pink flowers with a deep red centre, appearing from spring through to autumn. Its soft colouring and tropical appeal make it ideal for borders, feature planting, or growing in large containers in warm, sheltered gardens.
Plant in full sun with rich, free-draining soil. Water regularly and apply fertiliser during the growing season to support strong flowering. Protect from frost and cold winds. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to shape and encourage new growth. Space plants 1 to 1.5 metres apart for best effect.
Grows to around 2 to 3 metres tall and 1.5 to 2 metres wide.

Disease Management: Ensure good air circulation and avoid wetting the foliage to prevent fungal issues like leaf spot. Use well-draining soil and promptly remove any yellowing or affected leaves to maintain plant health.
