Pittosporum Screenmaster has small, silvery-green, wrinkled leaves on dark, erect stems, make for a stunning, evergreen shrub. A fast-growing and dense plant, making it suitable for hedging and screening. Evergreen. Hardy. 4m x 2m.

Trimming: Trim Pittosporum 'Screen Master' in late winter or early spring to shape the plant and encourage dense growth. Regular light pruning throughout the growing season can help maintain its form as a hedge or screen.
Fertilising: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertiliser in early spring to support vigorous growth. A second application in mid-summer can help if the plant shows signs of nutrient deficiency.
Watering: Water regularly during the establishment phase to keep the soil evenly moist. Once established, Pittosporum 'Screen Master' is relatively drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional deep watering during extended dry periods.
Pest Control: Watch for common pests such as aphids, scale insects, and spider mites. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil. Regularly inspect the plant, especially the undersides of leaves, for early signs of pests.
Disease Management: Pittosporum 'Screen Master' is generally disease-resistant. Ensure good air circulation around the plant to prevent fungal issues. Avoid waterlogging by ensuring proper soil drainage. If you notice signs of fungal diseases, such as leaf spots or powdery mildew, remove affected parts and treat with a suitable fungicide.
