Phormium Tenax Tom Thumb, also known as Wharariki, is a low-maintenance petite and compact New Zealand native with a striking appearance. Its upright but twisted evergreen leaves showcase a vibrant green centre bordered by bold burgundy-red edges.
Perfect for both modern and native gardens, Tom Thumb serves well in mass plantings on banks, small gardens or containers.
Adaptable to various conditions but will thrive in full sun and its colour will be brighter. It is especially suited for coastal gardens due to its salt tolerance. It is frost and drought-tolerant
