Eugenia ventenatii

Eugenia ventenatii, commonly known as lilly pilly, is a fast-growing, evergreen tree notable for its striking foliage and ornamental berries. The glossy leaves are a beautiful deep-green colour and the tree produces small, white, fluffy flowers in spring and summer. These are followed by red-purple berries, which are not only visually appealing but are also edible and attract birds. This tree can reach a height of up to 15 metres, but it can be pruned to maintain a more manageable size. It thrives in a variety of conditions, but prefers a sunny to partially shaded position with well-drained soil. Given its dense growth and rapid development, it's commonly used for hedging, screening, and windbreaks.
