This tree has horizontally-layered branches, with pointy and deep green with a gold central stripe and cream-white flowers. Vivid brick-red foliage in autumn. Birds are attracted by its pink berries through summer. Prefers rich, moist, well-drained soils in full to part shade. It can reach up to 4m tall. Hardy.
