Cedrus atlantica, known as the Atlas cedar, is a large coniferous evergreen tree, Its needle-like leaves are green with a hint of blue. When young, it has a conical shape but develops a broader crown as it grows with lightly-drooping, elegant branches. Scented durable timber. Wind and frost hardy. Hardy. 30m x 10m. Great at high altitudes.
