Notify MeCarpinus Japonica, also known as Japanese hornbeam, is a deciduous tree, small to medium-sized growing with corrugated-like green foliage. This tree also has lime-green catkins which hang from the branches in early spring. The foliage also changes to a vibrant orange-yellow during autumn. This tree will grow in any soil conditions as long as it is well drained. Grows to a height of 8m.
