Albizia julibrissin
Albizia julibrissin, commonly known as the Persian Silk Tree or Mimosa Tree, is a deciduous tree renowned for its feathery, fern-like foliage and striking, fluffy pink flowers that appear from mid-summer to early autumn. The flowers have a delicate, silky texture and are lightly fragrant, attracting bees, butterflies, and birds. Its broad, spreading canopy provides dappled shade, making it an excellent choice for a feature tree in warm, sunny gardens.
Perfect for Mediterranean, tropical, or contemporary garden designs. Plant in a full sun position with well-draining soil. Tolerates periods of dryness once established and thrives in sheltered areas with moderate frost protection. Allow ample space for its spreading habit when positioning in the garden.
Reaches a mature height of 6–9 m with a canopy spread of 5–7 m, creating an elegant silhouette with a light and airy presence.

Disease Management: Albizia can be susceptible to Fusarium wilt, which causes yellowing and wilting of leaves. Avoid overwatering and ensure well-draining soil. Remove infected branches and improve air circulation around the tree.
