Vireya Haloed Gold is a compact-growing, evergreen bush with large, golden-yellow flowers highlighted with frilled, orange margins. Prefers a warm semi-shaded position protected from frosts. The Vireya group is known for its tropical origins, making them more suitable for warmer climates compared to traditional rhododendrons that thrive in cooler regions. Plant in loose-textured, free-draining, moisture-retentive acidic soil in good light but not harsh sunlight. Avoid compressing soil around the roots and planting in areas prone to high winds. Grows 1.5m-2m high.
