Vireya Butterscotch

Vireya Butterscotch is a hybrid Rhododendron that is a striking addition to any garden with its rich, butterscotch-orange flowers. Originating from tropical Southeast Asia, this plant blooms intermittently throughout the year, displaying clusters of tubular flowers. It prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil and thrives in a position with dappled sunlight or partial shade. Although frost tender, it can be successfully grown in cooler climates if given a sheltered position or grown in a pot to bring indoors during colder periods. At maturity, Vireya Butterscotch can reach an approximate size of 1.5 metres in height and width.
