Rhododendron Pontiyak
Rhododendron Pontiyak produces pink flowers that change to white as they age, with a dark rose blotch and spots at the base. The flowers have a frilly edge and appear in the mid to late season. This plant is suitable as a feature plant for smaller gardens or as part of a mass planting of Rhododendrons in larger garden borders. It prefers full sun to partial shade and is frost-hardy. It should be planted in well-drained soil that is not dry or alkaline. This plant is suitable for all but the windiest of sites.
