Osmanthus heterophyllus Variegatus

Osmanthus heterophyllus Variegatus is a dense, evergreen shrub valued for its glossy, holly-like foliage edged with creamy white, providing year-round colour and texture. In autumn, clusters of small, highly fragrant white flowers appear, filling the garden with a sweet perfume. Its naturally compact habit makes it an excellent choice for both formal and informal planting.

Garden uses: Ideal for hedging, screening, feature planting, mixed shrub borders and containers. It complements formal, contemporary, coastal and cottage gardens.

Preferred garden area: Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil with moderate moisture. Allow approximately 1–1.5 m between plants, depending on the desired density.
