Camellia Volunteer

Camellia Volunteer is renowned for its stunning, large, peony-form flowers that display a mix of soft pink petals with deeper pink streaks. This striking coloration makes it a visually captivating addition to any garden. Typically, Volunteer begins blooming in mid-spring and continues through to early summer, providing a beautiful and extended display of color.

Well-suited to a variety of garden settings, including formal and cottage gardens, and can be used effectively in borders, as a specimen plant, or even in large containers. Thrives in partial shade, prefers well-draining, acidic soil and benefits from a protected position that shields it from harsh winds and full afternoon sun. Regular watering, mulching, and pruning after flowering help maintain its health and enhance its flowering potential.

Grows to a mature height of about 2m with a spread of 1.5m, forming an upright, evergreen dense bush.
