Camellia Ariel's Song

Camellia Ariel's Song is a variety of camellia celebrated for its elegant, dainty white flowers and a bushy growth habit. This plant flowers in spring, featuring small, single flowers that are about 4cm across and 2.5cm deep. Each flower consists of five petals, accented beautifully with gold anthers on white filaments.

The shrub itself exhibits an upright, open growth form with pendulous branches, and bears light-green leaves that are typically 9cm long by 3cm wide. The semi-glossy green foliage forms a delightful backdrop to its white blooms. Commonly used as a specimen plant or clipped into a hedge, but also well-suited for mixed plantings, cottage gardens, and as a serene backdrop for smaller plants.

It thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Once established, it shows good tolerance to cool and humid climates, as well as moderate frost, making it versatile across various garden settings.

Grows to about 2m in both height and width.
