Azalea Hinodegiri

Azalea Hinodegiri is a vibrant evergreen shrub known for its spectacular spring display of cerise-pink funnel shaped flowers that cover the plant in mid to late spring, creating a stunning contrast against its dark green, glossy foliage that has bronze tones during winter. 

Perfect for mixed borders, foundation plantings, or as a stunning low hedge. Like other Azaleas it performs best in morning sun or dappled shade.and prefers well-drained, acidic soil enriched with organic matter. This compact shrub is well-suited to various garden styles, including Japanese, woodland, and cottage gardens.

Regular watering is essential, particularly during the establishment period and dry spells. Mulching with pine needles or acidic compost helps maintain soil acidity and moisture. Pruning lightly after flowering helps to maintain its shape and encourages dense growth.
