Rose Cottage Garden

Rose Cottage Garden, internationally known as Chewily, is a rosebush featuring petite salmon-pink flowers that exhibit a delightful colour transformation. The foliage adorns a rich, dark green hue, while the rose showcases a graceful cup shape with 15 petals, measuring approximately 4cm in diameter. The plant displays a charming drooping habit and exhibits robust growth. Throughout the summer months, it flourishes with an abundance of flowers, forming lavish sprays that completely envelop the bush. Although it lacks a discernible fragrance, it serves as an excellent choice for enhancing the visual appeal of slopes or walls in a garden setting. 90-150cm x 120-245cm. 

Planting is recommended any time between late autumn and late spring. The planting site should be prepared by digging over the bed and incorporating liberal quantities of well-rotted manure or compost. Heavy clay soil can be lightened with half-rotted straw. The topsoil should be dressed with plenty of peat mixed with hop manure and chopped up turf. Fresh animal manure should be avoided as it is harmful to the roots.
