Notify MeFederation Daisy 'Barbie' is a compact, evergreen perennial daisy known for its prolific display of soft pink, semi-double flowers with yellow centres. Flowering from early spring through to late autumn, it provides a long season of colour and attracts pollinators to the garden. With its mounded habit reaching around 40 to 50 cm high and wide, it is ideal for cottage, coastal, container, and low-maintenance garden styles.
Plant in full sun with free-draining soil. Tolerates light frost and dry conditions once established. Space plants 30 to 40 cm apart for mass planting or borders. Pest Control: Watch for aphids and whiteflies, especially during warm, humid periods. Treat infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
Disease Management: Provide good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew and fungal leaf spots. Avoid overhead watering and remove any diseased or discoloured foliage promptly. Mulch lightly to retain soil moisture without crowding the base.
