Echinacea Red Ombre

Echinacea Red Ombre is a new hybrid Coneflower that stands out for its highly branched plants and uniform structure. This striking herbaceous perennial produces large, single flowers with a spiky gold-brown central cone. The petals open to a strong tomato red and gradually age to a rich brick red or rusty orange, creating a captivating ombre effect. The daisy-like flowers, which appear from mid-summer to autumn, are not only visually striking but also attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies to the garden.

It is perfect for mixed borders, prairie-style plantings, cottage gardens, containers, en masse or in a wilder style planting. Makes an excellent cut flower. This plant thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. It is tolerant of a wide range of soil types, including clay, loam, and sandy soils, as long as they are not waterlogged. Drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal maintenance, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens.

When planting space the plants about 50cm apart to allow for their upright, bushy growth habit. This spacing will ensure that each plant has enough room to develop fully and show off its vibrant flowers.

Grows up to approximately 85cm tall and 75cm wide.
