Doryanthes palmeri

Doryanthes palmeri, commonly referred to as the giant spear lily, is naturally found in eastern Australia. Doryanthes palmeri grows in a distinctive rosette formation, with its leaves capable of reaching impressive lengths of approximately 3m. During springtime, magnificent flowers emerge from tall stalks that can reach heights of up to 5m. This succulent perennial exhibits smooth, sword-shaped leaves.

Due to its captivating features, Doryanthes palmeri is frequently cultivated as an ornamental plant. However, it's important to note that this species is sensitive to frost and requires protection during the winter months, particularly in temperate regions.
