Calibrachoa Doublette Love Swept

Calibrachoa Doublette Love Swept.  Stunning, fully-double, deep-pink flowers that are bordered with white on each petal, are massed on the plant for many months of the year. Flowering through the warm summer days of early spring right through until late autumn, the flowers are held clear of the plant making the effect striking. Was selected by the breeders for its brilliant colour and strong summer performance. They will grow best in full sun.

Trimming: Lightly trim back straggly or leggy stems during the growing season to maintain a compact shape and encourage fresh growth. A mid-season tidy-up can help extend flowering.

Deadheading: Not necessary, as this variety is self-cleaning. Occasional removal of spent flowers can enhance appearance.

Fertilising: Use a slow-release fertiliser at planting, then supplement with a liquid feed high in potassium every one to two weeks during the flowering season for best performance.

Watering: Water regularly during establishment and in dry periods. Keep soil evenly moist but ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.

Pest Control: Watch for aphids, thrips, and whiteflies on young growth. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil as required.

Disease Management: Prevent fungal issues by providing good airflow and avoiding overhead watering. Use free-draining soil and remove any yellowing or spotted leaves promptly to maintain plant health.
