Argyranthemum Giant Pink

The oversized blooms are carried on sturdy stems above lush, finely divided green foliage, making this variety a striking addition to garden beds and containers.

Thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Deadhead regularly to promote ongoing flowering and maintain plant vigour. Space 40–50 cm apart to accommodate its larger flower size and spreading habit.
Mature size: Reaches 40–60 cm tall with a broad, mounded spread of up to 50–60 cm.
Trimming: Trim lightly after each flowering flush to maintain a neat, bushy shape and encourage continuous blooming. Prune more thoroughly in late winter or early spring to promote fresh, vigorous growth for the new season.
Deadheading: Regularly deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering and improve appearance.
Fertilising: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertiliser in early spring. During peak flowering, feed every 2–4 weeks with a liquid fertiliser to support abundant blooms.
Watering: Water regularly during dry weather, especially in warmer months. While Argyranthemum ‘Giant Pink’ is moderately drought-tolerant once established, consistent moisture will enhance flowering. Ensure the soil is well-draining to avoid root rot.
Pest Control: Check for aphids and whitefly on new growth. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or horticultural oil if needed.
Disease Management: Can be affected by powdery mildew in humid or crowded conditions. Improve airflow, avoid overhead watering, and remove affected foliage. Apply a fungicide if necessary.
