The finely divided, dark green foliage provides a soft backdrop to the long-lasting display, making this variety a favourite for continuous seasonal colour in beds, borders, and containers.
Ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders, and patio pots. Complements Mediterranean, coastal, and informal garden styles.
Thrives in full sun with well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Deadhead regularly to promote ongoing flowering and maintain a tidy shape. Space plants 30–40 cm apart for a lush, even display.
Mature size: Grows to 30–40 cm tall with a compact, bushy spread of around 40–50 cm.
Trimming: Lightly trim after each flush of flowering to maintain a compact, bushy shape and encourage continuous blooming. In late winter or early spring, prune more thoroughly to refresh the plant and promote vigorous new growth.
Deadheading: Regularly remove spent flowers to prolong the flowering period and keep the plant looking tidy.
Fertilising: Feed with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser in early spring, and supplement with liquid feed every few weeks during peak flowering for best performance.
Watering: Water regularly during dry periods, especially in warmer months. While moderately drought-tolerant once established, Argyranthemum ‘Angelic Everest’ flowers best with consistent moisture. Ensure well-drained soil to prevent root rot.
Pest Control: Monitor for aphids and whitefly, particularly on soft new growth. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or horticultural oil.
Disease Management: Watch for powdery mildew in humid conditions—look for white powdery patches on foliage. Improve airflow, avoid overhead watering, and remove affected leaves promptly. Use a fungicide if necessary.
