Alstroemeria Inca Pulse

Alstroemeria Inca Pulse is a compact, clump-forming perennial that showcases vibrant orange flowers with striking dark markings on the inner petals. Blooming from late spring through to autumn, this bold Peruvian Lily brings a bright splash of colour to borders, patio containers, or cut flower arrangements. Its dense green foliage complements the fiery blooms, making it a standout feature in any garden.

Perfect for tropical-themed gardens, mixed borders, or pots. Thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, well-draining soil. Water regularly during the growing season and mulch in winter to protect the roots. Space plants 30–40 cm apart for a colourful, compact display.

Reaches a mature height of 30–40 cm and spreads up to 30 cm, delivering a vivid and cheerful burst of colour to garden beds or outdoor living spaces.

Trimming: Remove spent stems at the base after flowering to encourage continuous growth. In late autumn or early spring, cut back old foliage to make way for new shoots.

Deadheading: Regularly remove faded flowers to prolong the flowering season and prevent seed formation.

Fertilising: Apply a high-potassium fertiliser every two weeks during the flowering season to support blooms. A slow-release fertiliser in spring can also promote healthy growth.

Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid waterlogging by ensuring good drainage.

Pest Control: Look out for slugs, snails, and aphids, which may attack the plant. Use organic pellets or insecticidal soap to manage infestations.

Disease Management: Alstroemeria is prone to root rot and botrytis (grey mould) in poorly drained or humid conditions. Ensure well-drained soil and good air circulation, and remove any affected foliage promptly.
