Olea Mission - native to the Mediterranean this fruit tree grows very well in poor soil and doesn't need to be maintained regularly. The Mission Olive will tolerate prolonged periods of dryness and has medium-sized fruit with a good oil content. Suitable for pickling when ripe i.e. the blue-black stage. Quickly forms a nice specimen tree with attractive grey-green foliage. Self-fertile. Plant in the sun with protection from harsh wind. Evergreen.
