Leptospermum Blossom

Leptospermum Blossom, also known as Manuka or Tea Tree, is an attractive evergreen shrub admired for its profusion of delicate pink flowers that bloom from late spring to summer. The flowers, with their charming pink petals and contrasting dark centres, create a beautiful display against the fine, aromatic green foliage. This hardy and versatile plant is well-suited for various garden styles, including native, coastal, and cottage gardens, and can be used as a feature plant, in mixed borders, or as part of a flowering hedge.

Leptospermum Blossom thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is tolerant of a range of soil types, including sandy and loamy soils, and is well-adapted to coastal conditions, making it an excellent choice for seaside gardens. Regular watering during the establishment phase helps promote strong root growth, but once established, it becomes relatively drought-tolerant. Space plants about 1-1.5 metres apart to allow for healthy growth and air circulation.

At maturity, Leptospermum Blossom reaches a height of approximately 1.5-2 metres and a spread of about 1-1.5 metres, forming a dense, upright shrub. Its long-lasting flowers attract pollinators, adding ecological value to the garden.
