Leptospermum Wiri Shelley has an erect, compact habit growing to 2m high and 1.35m wide. This variety of Tea Tree produces vibrant, pink, saucer-shaped flowers that emerge in late winter to early spring. Its foliage is composed of small, needle-like, dark green leaves. It is loved by the bees and small birds. It's perfect for a wide range of garden settings, from borders and hedges to mixed shrub beds and containers. Thriving best in full sun to partial shade, this plant prefers well-drained soil but can adapt to various soil types. It's notably drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for areas with dry summers. Regular pruning after flowering promotes a compact, bushy growth habit, which enhances its ornamental value.
