Hebe townsonii
Hebe townsonii. Erect, bushy shrub with yellowish-green branchlets. Long, narrow, glossy, bright-green leaves, dull green underneath. The white to lilac flowers are long and loose making a great show in spring over a long period. Suitable for growing in either full sun or partial shade in average type soils that are free-draining. Hardy to cold. A very tidy plant that clips well and stays looking great for many years. Occurs naturally in north west Nelson and north Westland.
