Ficinia nodosa

Ficinea nodosa, also known as Knobby Club-rush, is a robust, evergreen perennial grass-like plant with cylindrical, dark green stems that create a striking architectural presence in the garden. This plant produces small, inconspicuous flowers on the upper parts of its stems, adding a subtle texture. Ficinea nodosa is particularly well-suited for coastal gardens, wetlands, and areas prone to erosion due to its extensive root system, which helps stabilize the soil. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, Ficinea nodosa prefers moist to wet soils but can tolerate periods of dryness once established.
