Corokia Clover

Corokia Clover is one of the finest Corokia varieties for clipping, boasting dense green foliage that responds exceptionally well to shaping. This evergreen shrub, known for its compact and tidy appearance, can also be left unclipped to form a lovely, textural plant in its own right. Native to New Zealand, Corokia Clover features short internodes, which contribute to its dense and compact growth habit. In autumn, it produces small, yellow, star-shaped flowers followed by small, golden-yellow berries, adding seasonal interest to the garden.

Corokia Clover is highly sought after for its coastal hardiness, disease resistance, and ease of growth. It is excellent for creating low screens or hedges due to its dense foliage and can be easily clipped into various shapes, making it suitable for both formal and contemporary garden styles. This shrub also works well as a background plant, providing contrast with its clover-green foliage. Plant Corokia Clover in well-drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded location. It thrives in average to fertile soils that are free-draining and can tolerate dry to moist conditions.
