Notify MeCarex solandri is a sedge found in forests and damp ground. The drooping, yellowish-green leaves are ribbed and up to 1cm wide. It grows to 60cm or more tall and the flowering stems are as long as or longer than the leaves. Being a forest plant, it is best grown in a somewhat shady situation and is good for growing under trees. Prefers a moist soil but can tolerate some dryness.
