Fertilising: Lavender prefers low-nutrient soils, so fertilising is generally unnecessary. If needed, a light application of slow-release fertiliser in early spring will suffice.
Watering: Water moderately during the establishment phase. Once established, 'Pacific Blue' is drought-tolerant and thrives in dry, well-drained soils. Avoid overwatering, especially in humid climates.
Pest Control: Lavender is generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract aphids. Remove them manually or use insecticidal soap if infestations occur.
Disease Management: Lavender can suffer from root rot if planted in poorly drained soils. Ensure the soil is well-drained and avoid waterlogging. Good air circulation helps prevent fungal issues like powdery mildew.
