Typically growing to 1.2-1.5 metres high and 60-90 cm wide in pots, it suits contemporary, tropical, and low-maintenance garden or interior styles.
Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates light shade. Plant in free-draining potting mix or well-draining soil outdoors in frost-free areas. Water when the top few centimetres of soil dry out, and reduce watering in cooler months. Avoid overwatering, and ensure good drainage. Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust and maintain shine. Watering: Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Dracaena ‘Lemon Lime’ prefers consistently moist-but not soggy-soil. Reduce watering in winter. Avoid using chlorinated water, which can cause leaf tip burn-use filtered or rainwater if possible.
Pest Control: Monitor for common indoor pests such as spider mites, mealybugs, and scale. Wipe leaves regularly and treat early infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
