Mint - Chocolate

Mint - Chocolate.  This mint does actually smell like chocolate and its leaves versatility to drinks, desserts and garnishes for a variety of dishes.  Growing chocolate mint, both indoors and outside, is an easy way to always have a fresh supply of the chocolate herb plant. Chocolate mint plants (Mentha x piperita ‘Chocolate’) are attractive, fragrant and easy to grow. This cultivar has a dark look compared to the bright leaves of peppermint. It grows deep green leaves with purple undersides and dark stems and the small lavender flowers attract all sorts of bees and butterflies.  Plant in a container as it can run away with garden!
