Phormium Waitara Gold

Phormium 'Waitara Gold', commonly known as Mountain Flax, is a striking perennial. Characterised by its arching, sword-like leaves with a vibrant-green centre and golden-yellow margins, 'Waitara Gold' is a radiant variant of New Zealand's native Mountain Flax.

Its also known for its adaptability and resilience. Suited for a variety of garden settings, 'Waitara Gold' is particularly effective in coastal gardens, being drought-resistant once established and tolerant of salt sprays. It thrives in well-drained soils and can handle both full sun and partial shade. 

This bird-attracting evergreen perennial is an excellent luminous focal point or will make a textured border.

Growing up to 1 m tall and 150 m wide.
