Its broad, strap-like green foliage forms a dense, tidy clump, providing year-round structure and texture to the garden. Suited to coastal, cottage, or modern gardens, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. It is drought-tolerant once established and works well in borders, mass plantings, or as a statement in large containers. Space plants 50–60 cm apart for a natural, flowing effect.
Mature size: Reaches up to 1–1.2 metres in height (including flower stems) and 60–70 cm in width, forming a lush, clumping habit.
Trimming: Cut back foliage in late autumn or winter once it has died back naturally. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves during the growing season to maintain a tidy appearance.
Deadheading: Remove spent flower stems after flowering to encourage further blooms and prevent self-seeding, especially if managing invasive tendencies.

Disease Management: Agapanthus are generally disease-resistant but may develop root rot in poorly draining soil. Ensure soil is well-draining and avoid overwatering.
