Juniperus Kaizuka - Field Grown

Juniperus chinensis Kaizuka is a Chinese juniper known for its resilience and distinctive appearance. Thriving in exposed conditions, this evergreen conifer demands only free-draining soil to flourish. If allowed to grow without pruning, it naturally develops into a unique and striking form, making it a standout feature in any landscape. Reaching up to 4m in height, it forms a large shrub with an upright habit and irregular outline. Its bright green, scale-like foliage is densely clustered, complemented by tiny yellow flowers and small green cones, adding texture and colour to gardens year-round.

Field-grown plants are grown directly in open fields, enabling their roots to spread and develop naturally, resulting in larger size, established root systems, and increased resilience. When transporting these plants, hessian, a coarse fabric made from natural fibres like jute, is commonly used to wrap their roots, providing protection during transportation and handling.
