Hardenbergia Happy Wanderer

Hardenbergia vio Happy Wanderer. A vigorous climber or trailing plant that will provide dense cover to just about anything - including walls, steep banks, pergolas and fences. It has long arrow shaped deep green leaves and produces flowers that are lilac to purple. It will tolerate light frosts. This cultivar is more compact and has larger leaves and flowers than the species. Flowering in winter and early spring it is covered in a solid mass of deep mauve-purple pea flowers. Perhaps the best hardenbergia selection ever grown.
