Gelsemium sempervirens. A vigorous climber with fine, bright-green leaves. Foliage covers a trellis well but not does not grow thick and rampant. Clusters of fragrant yellow flowers in spring and summer. Best to prune after flowering. Hardy to light frost, prefers well-drained soil, plant in sun or semi-shade.
