Clematis Belle of Woking

Clematis Belle of Woking is a treasured variety dating back to 1875, known for its showy, fully double, silver-blue flowers. Each can reach up to 15cm in diameter, providing a grand spectacle when the plant is in full bloom during late spring and again in late summer. Its stunning flowers and vigorous growth habit make it an excellent choice for trellises, walls, pergolas, and fences in cottage or traditional-style gardens. It also makes a spectacular cut flower.

It thrives best in full sun to part shade, with its roots in cool, well-drained soil. The plant is hardy and can withstand frost, making it a versatile addition to various climates and garden situations, but it should be protected from strong winds. 

Clematis Belle of Woking is a moderately vigorous grower, and in optimal conditions, can reach a height of around 2.5-3m with a spread of 1-2m.
